Volunteer Learning Program

Volunteer learning program

Volunteering at Finca Sol y Valle is a unique opportunity for those interested in learning sustainable living practices in response to the urgent need for global change. We welcome individuals, couples, and families passionate about community life and hands-on work to join our small farm. Living in community here involves developing essential soft skills such as tolerance, preparing meals in groups, mutual care, cleaning common spaces, non-violent communication, teamwork, and more. We understand that many have not been educated for community living, but we believe that every relationship on the farm is crucial for maintaining harmony.

Purpose of the Volunteer Program

  • Foster individual and community growth

  • Empower volunteers with a diverse skill set that aligns with their personal goals

Also, we give volunteers a flexible schedule so they can travel during weekdays when they need to. To know more about what you can do in the areas surrounding our farm, check out things to do nearby.
